The Financial Secretary receives the report from the Counters, with the detail of the gift:
Donor, Amount of Gift, The fund to which the gift is applied; General Fund or a Restricted Fund that the church has established.
The Church Treasurer receives a report from the counters that does not show donor information, but does include the amount of the bank deposit and what funds the deposit goes to.
The Financial Secretary should report to the church on a regular basis showing the amount of giving, the number of giving units, and the average of giving per giving unit. Monthly reports would be ideal, but at least quarterly.
The Financial Secretary should also provide the information for completing the year-end EZRA Statistics Report Table III.
